Goodwin Vaughan Pty Ltd (ABN 48 651 135 054) ("Goodwin Vaughan", "we", "us") is a residential architectural builder in Newcastle NSW. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it. We aim to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We may collect:

  • your name, phone number and email address

  • your suburb and details about your project

  • plans, drawings and other documents you send us

  • details you include in a job application

How we collect it

We collect information when you:

  • fill in the contact form or newsletter signup on our website

  • submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram

  • email or call us

  • apply for a job with us

  • use our client portal during a build

Why we use it

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiry

  • prepare estimates, feasibility studies and tenders

  • deliver and manage your build, including through our client portal

  • assess job applications

  • send you updates you have asked for

We don't sell your personal information.

Tools we use

We use trusted business tools to run Goodwin Vaughan. These include HubSpot to manage enquiries, Google Workspace for email and files, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for advertising and lead forms, Xero and Dext for accounts, and Buildertrend to manage builds. Your information may be stored in these tools.

Some of these providers store data on cloud servers outside Australia. This means your information may be held overseas.

Cookies and analytics

Our website runs on Squarespace and uses cookies. We also use the Meta Pixel, which helps us understand how people use our site and measure how our ads perform. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We only keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires.

Your choices

You can:

  • ask to see the personal information we hold about you

  • ask us to correct it if it's wrong or out of date

  • unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the email, or by contacting us
